 Jiri SLIVA Czech Republic After completing studies in economics at the University of Prague, Jiri Sliva worked for eight years as a sociologist. Sliva had his first drawing published in1972. Since 1979, he has he has devoted his full time to cartooning, graphic art, and illustration. He has published seven cartoon books sold in Czechoslovakia, Germany, and Switzerland. His drawings have appeared in over sixty books, many Czech journals and newspapers, and in international journals such as Die Zeit, Stern, New York Times, Nebelspalter, Playboy, Wall Street Journal Wall Street Journal Europe, Die Welt, Wiener Journal, Prague Post. |
