As a student in political science and philosophy at the University of Amsterdam Schot started working for several small newspapers and a university paper. During a summer holiday trip in 1989 to Cura*ao (Dutch Antilles) his first editorial cartoons have been published in a local Antillean daily newspaper called "The Amigoe". After completing his studies in 1995, Schot started working for "Algemeen Dagblad" (Rotterdam), the second largest newspaper in Holland. His work is also regularly published in "De Standaard" (Brussels) the largest Flemish newspaper in Belgium. | |
