Richard Waring Rockwell has been a leading American illustrator for over four decades. He has been involved in almost every aspect of his craft from book illustration and comic book art to court-room reportage and teaching. Rockwellıs many assignments have ranged from creative assistant and historic advisor for the Milton Caniff strip Steve Canyon (1953-1988), to reportage artist for the Herald Tribune, Harperıs magazine, NBC, CNN, CNBC, WPIX, CBS and Fox. He has also been a teacher at New York University, Parsonıs School of Design and the Fashion Institute on Technology (FIT). | |
