José Palomo began his professional career as a cartoonist in 1963, appearing in several major Chilean newspapers and magazines. In 1973, he moved to Mexico where his work has appeared in several newspapers and magazines. He also illustrated several textbooks for Mexico's Secretary of Public Education. Palomo's satirical comic strip "The Fourth Reich" has been published internationally and has been collected into five books. He has also published two humor books and several children's books. His cartoons are represented in the Museum of Caricatures and Cartoons in Basel, and he has received awards in many countries, including Turkey and Cuba. | |
