A virtuoso of pen and ink, Rogelio Naranjo was born in 1938. His cartoons first appeared in 1965 in El Dia. Six collections by Naranjo were published between 1973 and 1982. Naranjo's imaginative concepts often combine old engravings with his own drawings. Naranjo has been reprinted throughout Central and South America and Europe. Among his honors are first place in the International Bienal of Graphic humor, Cuba, and the National Press Award, Mexico. | |
