David Myers has been a freelance cartoonist since 1952. He has been pocket cartoonist on the Australian Melbourne Argus, lead cartoonist on the London Evening News, done 10,000 cartoons for other journals, designed 500 greeting cards, invented a toy, and devised and written a children's BBC TV series. A series of books on his character Sebastian, the Incredible Drawing Dog (of TV fame) have been published. Myers has won the Cartoonists Club of Great Britain Award for Social and Political Cartoonist of the Year. | |
