Mueller's cartoons have been sneaking their way into publication for thirty years, appearing in magazines and newspapers ranging from Temp Slave to the New Yorker. Though largely known as a staple of the alternative press, Mueller has recently made inroads into such mainstream publications as USA Weekend, Hippocrates, Hemispheres, React, and Men's Journal to name a few. His cartoons have been included in three collections of his own as well as numerous anthologies of cartoons and humor. On the web Mueller's cartoons appear daily at: www.thetallguy.com/PSMUELLER. Other web sites too numerous to mention here also include Mueller's cartoons as part of their regular content. A former radio announcer, Mueller allied himself with the Madison Wisconsin based Onion several years ago, serving as a writer and cast member of the Onion's Radio Pirates. Since then one of his characters, Doyle Redland, has served as the anchor of the on again off again Onion Radio News, which is slated to go into production for national syndication this spring. Recently called -delightfully demented- by the Washington Post, Mueller lives with his wife and cats in Madison Wisconsin where he sits around and thinks up stuff and drinks coffee. | |
