Ya'akov Kirschen's wry and sophisticated comments on the state of the
world appear weekly in the magazine Jerusalem Report after having
appeared daily for 16 years in the Jerusalem Post .
In his three-times-per week feature internationally-syndicated to the Jewish
press, Dry Bones, Kirschen lampoons a wide range of issues but
concentrates on the Middle East peace process and Arab-Israeli relations. In 1993 Kirschen wrote and illustrated the theological-environmental graphic
novel, Trees: The Green Testament. Several book collections of his work
have been published. In his spare time Kirschen collects unusual musical instruments,
breeds fish and birds, creates computer programs and is a musician, gardener,
illustrator, cartoonist and writer. Kirschenšs fans include British MPs,
foreign diplomats, senators and even a U.S. president.
