The late Abe Berry was cartoonist for The Star for 45 years, as well as a well known watercolor artist. Proficient in six languages, Berry's illustrious career spanned almost 60 years and included three international awards. His three books include a collection of his cartoons over a 40 year period documenting the history of South Africa from the inception of the Apartheid government. Berry served in World War II. | |
