Arcadio Esquivel is political cartoonist for the Costa Rican daily La Naçion as well as for the English language newspaper The Tico Times. Arcadio pursued his studies in Germany and has been a professor of cartoon art at the University of Costa Rica. He is President of the Costa Rican Cartoonists Association, La Zarigueya. His political cartoons and caricatures have been widely exhibited in Europe. He is the recipient of several prizes, including an Inter-American Press Association award for cartooning. | |
